Wells and our passage to Lowestoft.

We have spent several days exploring Wells and the surrounding area.  First we went on the Wells to Walsingham light gauge railway and visited Walsingham.  A pretty little village with the remains of a monastery, a pilgrimage centre and a shrine to Mary who was seen in a vision by the lady of the manor.  The next day we caught the bus to Cromer and Sheringham which were very pretty little towns and on our final day we visited Holkham Hall where we had our first sunny day of the cruise.
On Wednesday we were up early and set sail for Lowestoft.  The wind was a force 3 to 4 and coming from the north which made for a most exhilarating ride over the bar.  Stuff in the cupboards was crashing and sliding from one side to the other and anything that wasn't nailed down ended up on the floor.  No pictures of this as we were all hanging onto things so as to stay safe.  We eventually escaped the rough water after about an hour and then enjoyed a lovely days sail to Lowestoft arriving Hamilton dock at 1400h.  It is very misty/foggy at sea today so we have decided to stay here in Lowestoft.  I will try and download some more pictures today and maybe some video too.
